Six artists, five designs and one model in performance. Every artist\designer works with a different idea or conception of blood but nevertheless all of them use the same material to create a contemporary installation. Blood functions as a symbol as well as a specific aesthetic means of expression. Through its approach and its conceptual design of the clothes the installation puts a focus on the exploitative working conditions in the textile industry in Turkey and other countries of the world… and by this raises awareness of the problem. At the same time the project emphasizes the cultural collaboration between Germany and Turkey and links both cultures by its artistic concept and teamwork.
