“Swiss Touch In Landscape Architecture” is an event produced by ProHelvetia and brought to Turkey by PASAJ. It is hosted in ITU's Taşkışla Building with the support of the Swiss Consulate. Curated by Michael Jakob, “Swiss Touch in Landscape Architecture” showcases the richness, complexity and diversity, theoretical and historical stance, conceptual framework and influences of Swiss landscape architecture. It examines a range of projects ranging from historical gardens to contemporary public spaces, highlighting recent landscape architecture studios and designers. The exhibition consists of 36 panels, including Le Corbusier, one of the pioneers of the history of Swiss landscape architecture, and Herzog & De Meuron, one of the pioneers of contemporary architecture. Michael Jakob's conference on “Switzerland, the Idea of Nature and Swiss Landscape Architecture” can be watched on Friday, March 20, between 14:00 – 16:00 at ITU Taşkışla Building 104 .

The 'Swiss Touch In Landscape Architecture' is an event initiated by ProHelvetia and brought to Turkey by PASAJ. It's hosted by ITU-Taskisla and supported by the Consulate General of Switzerland in Istanbul. The 'Swiss Touch in Landscape Architecture', curated by Michael Jakob, exhibits the richness, diversity and complexity of the field and covers aspects of theory and history and conceptual frameworks and influences that have shaped the Swiss landscape. It looks at a range of projects stretching from historical gardens to contemporary open spaces and highlights the latest landscape architecture studios and the designers of today. The exhibition consists of 36 panels that cover the history of swiss landscape architecture from the pioneers, such as Le Corbusier, to the leading names of contemporary architecture like Herzog & De Meuron. A lecture by Michael Jakob on “Switzerland, the Idea of Nature and Swiss Landscape Architecture” will take place on Friday, March 20th, 14:00 – 16:00, at Taskisla, room 104.
