Doris Koch discusses and exchanges her participatory art practice and experiences with artists, local governments and other peoples in Istanbul. She uses the room as a working space. She achieves a high degree of transparency in her working process, which will be shown there, using photos, interviews, having meetings, talks, etc. She is in the process of a new project. This is at the beginning connected with artistic research. The subject in which she is interested is about the relationship between villagers (who just arrived at Istanbul?) and urban dwellers (who are the cultural elite?)

There is a gap not only in Istanbul but also elsewhere. On one hand, she has the possibility to show and discuss her special work of artistic research with a participatory impact – on the other she will show in real-time principles of her work in showing the working process of the development of a new project. The invitation enables her to do research in Istanbul. This research is a condition for evolving a project that arises out of spatial, social and cultural aspects of the situation.
