In the running series “Empty Pictures” the artist DOMINIK works directly on wall areas of exhibition rooms by spraying his own texts monochrome. Behind all this is the idea of positioning colour into available exhibition situations. DOMINIK understands this activity as his individual solution for painting. His works consist temporarily during the time of each exhibition. DOMINIK is a German artist and was born in 1981. Till 2011 he studied painting at the Academy of Visual Arts in Karlsruhe/Germany at professor Leni Hoffmann and he was a student of the masterclass. At the moment he’s living in Italy and takes part in different international exhibitions.
