SpaceLab by Stefan Endewardt is an intuitive growing installation, which deals with spaces, situations, and resources in the city. The artworks produced in the SpaceLab have a subjective character rather than a scientific one. SpaceLab concerns itself mostly with the compiling and surveying of spatial and symbolic settings of a city – as a kind of an urban text. In a long term perspective, the artistic formats hope to reflect increasingly about inclusions and exclusions in places, urban dynamics, gentrification processes.
