As part of AmberFest'13, “AslieMk @ The Saints of the New Age” will be at PASAJ's new venue in Galata on November 9 at 20:00. AslieMk's work is an investigation of the subconscious space against the surface of the mind and a It is a video performance where it is mapped to “derivé”. The venue where the performance will be exhibited consists of visible and invisible ports. It is connected to the common and independent subconscious of 2 separate individuals from each port. While the subconscious mind entered through the ports is revealed as a virtual transmission of an individual through so-called smart devices; observed with physical effects on the body of the other individual. 2 individuals support and sabotage each other at different moments during the performance. The viewer cannot focus on the "stupid" network formed between the ports in this subconscious space, or they are dragged through the space through their own perception.

AslieMk is a performative duo project by Aslı Dinç and Mk Yurttas.

His work is on the hybrid culture of cyberspace and critical theory and is woven with the words situationism, steampunk, squat, posthuman, ghostly-becoming, schizocreative.

This work of AslieMk is a video performance where the space of the unconcious versus the mind's surface is researched and mapped with a “dérivé”. The space where the performance will take place is constituted by ports, which are seen as well as unseen. Each ports will be linked by two separate peoples' mutual and independent unconscious. The 2 individuals support and sabotage each other during the performance. The spectator, can not focus on the “foolish” network occurred between those ports or drifts in the space with his/her own perception.
