PASAJ j presents Ezgi Tok's "The Remainings" between September 14th and October 7th.

 

Based on concepts such as standard, unit, order, and randomness, the work of Tok is made up of A4 paper fragments and video."Paper exposes and it is exposed at the same time so that space becomes a causative and a passive structure. The place and the paper are transferred to each other. We witness the dialogue of two forms which transform their existence into an experiment, mutually through the other's presence. "

 

About the artist

Ezgi Tok lives and works in Istanbul. She completed her undergraduate studies at Marmara University Faculty of Communication and she is continuing her master degree at the Painting Department of the same university. Some of the exhibitions she participated in are Young Fresh Different 9, Zilberman Galeri, 2018, Leaden Circles Dissolved In Air, Elgiz Contemporary Art Museum, Istanbul, 2018 and Ot (Cumhuriyet Museum and Art Gallery, Istanbul, 2018.
