PASSAGE

As part of Nesxt Independent Art Network, in Turin from October 27 to November 6

NESXT Festival , which will start in Turin with its first edition on October 27, will feature the artistic productions of independent artists. The organization, whose Artistic Director is Olga Gambari, aims to strengthen the non-profit, association, artist-run venue and collective network, while emphasizing the dynamic and  productive aspect of these spaces._cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_Opening a place in an old industrial area and in different parts of the city a large number of art spaces and collectives Nesxt also creates new networks in the international art environment, as well as new creations from Italy.

A selection of 20 fields Show, dedicated to graphic design Graphic , a collection of performances, concerts, talks, djset, video and workshops of Bodybuilders PASAJ Seçil Yaylalı, Ekmel Ertan, Grete Aagraad and Collabora(c)tions participate in the festival, which consists of 4 sections, the OFF Circuit, in which the exhibition will be open between October 27 and November 6, and Giorgio Caione is the curator of the exhibition.

NESXT is an international network devoted to nonprofit artistic initiatives. NESXT project promotes the first edition of_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136badcf53b-festival-3194-bb3b3b-136bad5cf5358dcc_3194-bb3b3bd1365cf5358d (27 October - 6 November 2016) in Turin, Italy. The Festival is divided into four sections: the Show, a selection of twenty Italian independent art spaces; OFF Circuit, an exhibition in more than twenty different spaces in the city with special guests; Graphic, dedicated to graphic design; Bodyteller, a program of performances, concerts, talks, DJ-sets, workshops.
PASAJ will be part of the OFF Circuit, hosted by Laboratorio Artistico Pietra.
PASAJ exhibits two participatory art projects realized in two opposite contexts. 
Kids from the historic neighborhood of Tarlabasi shot photos and video interviewing local people. Secil Yaylali and Ekmel Ertan guided them and created an interactive fabric map through which the videos are activated. The citizens of the multicultural neighborhood of Gellerup in Aarhus (Denmark) invented with Secil Yaylali a new cultural alphabet, a logography which starts from a childhood memory of their hometowns.
