Nihan Somay and Eduardo Cruces will share a series of exchanges for the closing of their residency at Pasaj@BarınHan: Stories and fragments, matter and waste, real and imaginary beings, all emerging as a result of their collective research focused between two places, the southern landscape of Chile and the transcontinental context of Turkey.

In the third part of the project by Nihan Somay and Eduardo Cruces, hosted by PASAJ, the artists will share their work based on their research trip to Chile between January and March 2023. Focusing on the Biobío region in the geographical center of Chile, they explore the possibilities of affective contact between the Pacific ecosystem and the Nahuelbuta Mountains extending to Marmara Sea.
During their stay in PASAJ@Barın Han, Nihan and Eduardo will share their on-going project in the form of an open studio for 3 weeks, where they will continue working together on the next steps of their artistic research.
